Vinification

After selected manual harvests, grapes are gently de-stemmed, then submitted to maceration and fermentation for about 30 days. Then, grape marc is placed into the press a little at a time.
Only after 12 months of patient ageing in French oak barrels the different wines are skilfully assembled. Bottled without filtration. Bottle ageing lasts from 10 to 12 months.

Organoleptic characteristics

ASPECT

Intense ruby red, enhanced by garnet highlights.

Aroma

Balsamic and spicy with a blend of elegant nuances of chocolate, tobacco, vanilla and cocoa.

Taste

Well-balanced components and a persuasive character thanks to elegant acidity, well-integrated tannins and outstanding concentration. A refined wine with a lingering finish.
